教堂 is the heartbeat of community worship at Jessup. Three times a week we join together as a school to worship God, study His Word, and hear from a diversity of Christian speakers and artists from within our community and all over the world.

An essential aspect of the Christian life and spiritual formation at Jessup is developing a lifestyle of service. This program gives students the opportunity to live out their faith with action.
Discipleship
Spiritual Formation Groups
We believe spiritual growth is meant to take place in a community with other believers. Our Spiritual Formation Groups (SFGs) are Jessup’s version of small groups, consisting of 4-10 students gathered with the purpose of studying scripture and building relationships on a more intimate level.
We offer a wide variety of groups and topics to help meet students wherever they are at in their spiritual development. Participation in an SFG counts for 2 Spiritual Life Credits in the Discipleship category.

Students seeking more intentional one-on-one mentorship for the purpose of spiritual formation are encour年龄d to reach out to the Campus Ministries staff to meet and discuss finding a mentor to meet with on a consistent basis.

教堂 Requirement
Every full-time undergraduate student at Jessup is required to participate in our chapel program by attending 20 chapels every semester.
Spiritual Life Credit Requirement
Every full-time undergraduate student at Jessup is required to accrue 12 Spiritual Life Credits by the time they graduate. Spiritual Life Credits exist to eng年龄 students in intentional spiritual growth while at Jessup. This is through areas of both service and discipleship.
For every 4 hours of service or discipleship, a student earns 1 Spiritual Life Credit. This can be earned through participation in a Spiritual Formation Group on campus, a church small group, an intentional mentorship, serving at a church or in the community, or participating in Jessup 当地的 or Global Outreach opportunities.
